DappaDon is the pseudonym of an up-and-coming Hip Hop/R and B/Dance music producer. Originally of Asian decent, born in Singapore, Dappa is now a North American resident for over 20 years. Dappa started his musical career early in life studying piano. After graduating from High School he made the decision to further his studies in Audio Engineering and Contemporary Jazz Music. Through this education he developed the necessary skills which later evolved into the high art of music production. DappaDon enjoyed the close tutelage of the renowned Bobby Taylor who was responsible for the success of Michael Jackson and The Jackson 5. Through Bobby, Dappa continued to temper his skills towards becoming a consummate.

Composer/Songwriter/Producer/Artist. Dappa's Current credentials include a Remix project for The Rap group known as Brand Nubian... Producing several songs for up and coming Canadian Pop Artist Chanell Dupre... He is also in the near completion of his dance music compilation that will be put out under the Label Masiv Music, and has done remixes for Universal Recording Artist Carlos Morgan, Ghetto Concept, Laface Recording Artist Shanice Wilson, and TLC. DappaDon is currently working on music projects with the very talented up and coming Canadian Singer-Songwriter Cheryl Schuh and Singing Sensation Fara Palmer . He is also developing other artists under his own umbrella production company.
